Griffiths
Hello, my name is Jane Griffiths, I am Welsh and I have
a Masters of Education Degree from Oxford University.
I am married and have two grown-up children; Ben who is
a chef and guitar player in a rock band and Megan who
is studying for a degree in Early Years Education at a
University in England. In my spare time I enjoy travelling
and spending time with my family. I enjoy photography,
music and art and I read when I have a quiet moment. I
have been a Primary School Teacher in different parts
of the UK for nearly 30 years, teaching children from
aged 3 to 13 in many different schools in Portsmouth,
Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Somerset, and I have been a
Primary School Headteacher (Principal) for 8 years. So
I bring with me wide experience of the British National
Curriculum and Primary School Leadership which I look
forward to offering to Traill International School. |

Robin Hamilton
I was born in Windsor and grew up in Dorset, graduating
with degree in English & Media from the University of
Southampton. After various interesting jobs I gained a
Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University
of Bath and then taught English and Media Studies in Weymouth
before becoming Manager of Adult Continuing Education
at City of Bath College, where I also learned British
Sign Language - an additional programme I was responsible
for. I have learned to speak basic Malay/Bahasa Indonesia
and have set myself the challenge of speaking fluent Thai
in under a year!
In the past I have introduced a film animation initiative in a young offenders’ institution (a national first in the UK) and have spoken on TV about this initiative. I have two grown-up children (one of each). My daughter lives in Southampton and my son runs his own on-line business for which I provide backing and consultation.

Andrew Mayers
My name is Mr Andrew and I’m from Wales (the nicest part
of the United Kingdom). I did my English degree at the
University of London before also studying at Cardiff University
and City University, London. Before coming to Traill,
I taught at international schools in Hong Kong, Hanoi
and Bangkok. As Bangkok is the city I like most, I am
very happy to be working at Traill.
In my spare time I enjoy wandering aimlessly with a camera and a book. I will soon be starting a Master’s in English Literature with the University of Sheffield, which means I will have lots of homework to do.
