“Warm, friendly and with good examination results”…. “An excellent, competitively priced education”…. These are the most frequent comments you’ll hear about Traill International School, whose 40-plus-year history makes the school one of the most established schools in Thailand.

We welcome new students throughout the year. Please contact us at the school office to arrange a visit.

Welcome to a long-established British School, and Centre for Cambridge Examinations
At 44 years old, Traill is one of Bangkok’s oldest and most established international schools. Setting its sights firmly on the future, the school delivers the world-respected English National Curriculum to students aged 3 to 18.

From Kindergarten to High School, students at Traill enjoy an environment that is both stimulating and caring, with a programme that provides discipline and structure. Traill students become confident and independent thinkers, and treasure the opportunity to explore a multitude of disciplines, backed by state-of-the-art facilities. Students from Traill are prepared for a world of global competitiveness, environmental sensitivity and community support.

An impressive record of exam results and a dedicated team of teachers make us a first division school, where students are accepted by the world’s finest universities, including London, Cambridge, New York (NYU), Monash and Chulalongkorn.

A new campus for Traill adds to an already-proven educational experience
The completion of the first stages of a multi-million dollar investment in state-of-the-art educational facilities will place Traill amongst the best international schools in Thailand. A fully-equipped sports hall with Suvannabhumi-like exterior, hi-tech office suites and reception area have now been complemented with an impressive four-storey building, designer pathways and two new swimming pools, one deep enough to provide scuba diving training. The new building houses a double-storey library and garden, and roomy classrooms, in addition to IT suites and art centre.

Purpose-designed buildings, built from a combination of both the latest hi-tech and all-natural materials, provide for an ideal environment in which to continue the Traill tradition of homeliness and warmth.

There is no other campus quite like it. With a boutique-feel, the design features truly rare attention to detail. Wave-form roofs that cover meandering pathways, are inlaid with laser-cut word patterns of formulae and other information, while cooling-mist fans make sitting areas and paths refreshingly cool, tranquil and resort-like – the perfect study spot!

Also designed for a peaceful outdoor study spot is the new library garden – a thoughtful addition to the school’s two-storey state-of-the-art indoor library. Here, students can relax against the gentle flow of the wall-based waterfall, and enjoy studying during the quieter moments of the day.

All in all, the new campus adds to the complete Traill experience – providing an education against a background of beauty and serenity.

Teachers
Traill’s mostly British teachers are all experienced and highly qualified, and are all required to undergo the school’s rigorous interview process. The school also has a low student-teacher ratio of 8:1, with less than 24 students per class. Leading the team is British-born principal Mr.Gordon Espley-Jones
whose long overseas teaching and management experience, combined with a strong background in British education, ensure students a global outlook, a British education and values that will set the students on a path of exploration, ‘learning for life’ and good self-discipline.
